Privacy Policy

This page describes, transparently, what data is processed when you use the security checking tool.

What we process when you check a website

The URL you type is sent to our server only to generate the scan (HTTPS connection, headers, certificate, DNS, cookies and sensitive files). It is not stored in a database.

History

Recent history is stored only in your browser, in localStorage, and is never sent to the server. Clearing your browser data removes this history.

Rate limiting

To prevent abuse, the server temporarily limits the number of checks per IP address, keeping this control in memory. It is not persisted and is not used to identify or track users.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies: one to remember your language preference and a technical session cookie used to apply security headers. We do not use tracking, advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

Third-party services

The check queries public services of the website itself (such as DNS and public files). The optional Google Safe Browsing check, when enabled, sends only the checked domain.

This policy may be updated as the tool evolves. Relevant changes will be reflected on this page.
